How does Medical Transit (NEMT) differ from a regular taxi?
We provide full door-through-door caregiver accompaniment. Our team assists clients inside their homes, escorts them into clinical waiting rooms, and coordinates return arrivals so passengers are never left unattended.
Can you assist with Family-Managed Services (FMS) contracts?
Yes. DHS handles daily caregiver scheduling, team coordination, and verifiable service billing while you retain overall decision-making control of your loved one’s care plan.
Do you accept provincial funding like PDD and FSCD?
Yes. We support adults funded through Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) and youth supported through Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD).
How are DHS caregivers screened and verified?
All personnel must clear comprehensive background checks, including Vulnerable Sector Screening, CPR/First Aid validation, and hands-on client care orientation.
